Cancellation Policy


At Brickhouse Boxing Club, we strive to provide our members with the best fitness and boxing training experience possible. We understand that sometimes life changes, schedules shift, and priorities evolve. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair to both our members and our team while ensuring smooth operational planning for our classes and coaches. Please take a moment to read the following terms carefully.


Monthly Membership Cancellations

You may cancel your monthly membership at any time by providing advance written notice. To avoid being billed for your next cycle, cancellation requests must be submitted at least [X days] before your upcoming billing date. This notice allows us to process the request, update your account, and ensure no further charges occur.

Cancellation requests can be submitted by:

  • Emailing us at brickhouseboxingandfitness@gmail.com
  • Logging into your member account and managing your subscription settings
  • Visiting our front desk and submitting a written cancellation form

Verbal cancellations, texts to coaches, or failing to attend classes do not qualify as valid cancellation requests. To protect both parties, we require a written or system-submitted record of your cancellation.

If a request is received after the cut-off window, your membership will renew for one final billing cycle before being officially cancelled. No exceptions will be made for late cancellation requests.


No Refunds on Cancellations

Please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations, regardless of whether you have attended classes or not. Once your billing cycle has started, the full membership fee is owed for that period. Mid-cycle cancellations do not result in prorated refunds. This includes circumstances such as:

  • Change in work schedule
  • Travel plans
  • Personal commitments
  • Illness (unless medically documented and eligible for a pause)
  • Lack of use or change of mind

We encourage members to evaluate their schedule and commitment before enrolling in a subscription or class package. If you're unsure of your availability, consider purchasing a drop-in pass or short-term plan to begin with.


Membership Pauses (Holds)

We offer a membership pause (hold) option for members experiencing temporary disruptions, such as medical issues or travel. This option provides flexibility while maintaining your place in our community. Pauses are available under the following conditions:

  • Duration: Pauses may be requested for a minimum of 7 days and up to 60 days
  • Notice: Requests must be submitted before the desired pause start date
  • Documentation: In some cases (e.g., injury or illness), documentation such as a doctor’s note may be required
  • Approval: All pause requests are subject to management approval and are not automatically granted
  • Billing: Your membership will automatically resume at the end of the hold period, and billing will continue as scheduled

If you resume attending classes during the pause period, your hold will be removed and regular billing will resume. Repeated or excessive pause requests may be declined unless accompanied by valid supporting reasons.


Cancellations for Class Packages and Drop-Ins

Class packages and single drop-in sessions are non-refundable and non-cancellable. These options are intended for short-term or flexible access and are valid for a set period after purchase. Once purchased, no extensions, transfers, or refunds will be granted, even if the package is not fully used.


Changing Your Membership Plan

If you wish to upgrade or downgrade your membership (e.g., switch from unlimited classes to a limited plan), changes can be made at the end of your current billing cycle. These changes must also be submitted in writing or through your member account before your next billing date. Mid-cycle plan changes will not be prorated or refunded.


Gym-Initiated Cancellations

Brickhouse Boxing Club reserves the right to cancel or terminate a membership at any time due to violations of our Code of Conduct, disruptive behaviour, non-payment, or actions that compromise the safety and integrity of the gym environment. In such cases, memberships may be terminated immediately with no refund.

By purchasing a membership, class package, or drop-in session with Brickhouse Boxing Club, you agree to the terms outlined in this Cancellation Policy. We encourage members to review their commitments and stay proactive in managing their accounts.
